CBR&SD (Centre for Bioinformatics Research & Software Development) is an academic, non-profit centre established on campus to promote research and software development in the area of Bioinformatics among the under-graduate and post-graduate students of computer science & engineering students. The centre is also aimed at developing software for in-house automation.
The main research focus of CBRSD is to analyze biological sequences (especially for finding repeats in DNA sequences) using computer programs and software tools. Apart from developing new bioinformatics software and databases, we are also trying to apply data-mining algorithms and techniques to analyze biological data.
